Delete Your Account | AstroSamay

⚠️ Your account is closed straight away, and deleted for good after 90 days.
Deleting your account signs you out and stops your profile, birth details, Kundli charts and notification preferences from being shown or used in the app. Your profile is then held in a restricted archive for 90 days, so that you can return and carry on where you left off, and so that a free trial you have already used is not started again. After 90 days it is deleted permanently and cannot be restored.

How to Delete Your Account

In the App, Recommended

Open AstroSamay → Go to the Profile tab → Tap Delete My Account → Confirm deletion in the dialog. Your account is queued for deletion immediately.

Email Request

Send an email to support@astrosamay.app with the subject "Delete my account" from the email address linked to your account. We will process your request within 7 days and confirm via reply.

What Gets Deleted

Your account credentials and Google sign-in link
Name, email address, and profile information
Date, time, and place of birth
Current location data
All generated Kundli (birth charts) and divisional charts
Horoscope predictions and Panchang cache linked to your account
Pandit Ji chat history
Push notification token (FCM token)
Language and app preferences
Premium subscription status

Some anonymized, non-identifiable analytics data (e.g. aggregate usage counts) may be retained for service improvement. This data cannot be linked back to you in any way.

Data Retention After Deletion

Your profile is kept in a restricted archive for 90 days after your deletion request. It is not used to run the app, and not used for analytics, advertising or marketing. Sign in again with the same email address within those 90 days and your account is restored exactly as it was, including your birth details and any remaining free trial time.

After 90 days the archive is deleted permanently and automatically, and your account cannot be restored. If you would rather have it erased immediately instead of waiting, write to support@astrosamay.app and we will do it. If you submitted your request by email, you will receive a confirmation reply when the deletion is complete.
